I faced a similar situation 2 yrs back, I underwent such training for 1 day, but then opted out, actually its more on sales, if you match it from the employees KRA it is part of the sales force (unit managers) not the HR people, who hire the UMs. These advisors are part-timers, not on the company payroll but on commission.
Actually, this is one of the strategies to increase their advisors.
As this is not a full time training and you can work at flexible timings, you can even undergo this training along with some other core HR training. It would be beneficial to you to be associated with some company where HR practices can be monitored, like some corporate office or manufacturing unit or HR outsourced firm.
