Can anyone help me with vlookup formula and pivot tables in excel....can i get an example of how to use it and in what situations it can be used better

pivot table used to classify objects , for example when you have excel sheet have many colums like age ID NAME , SALARY
You can clasify them into age only or who have the same id or who have the same name , then you can analyze the output data as you want
