Expanding Your Business: How to Open a New Branch in Rajasthan and Handle VAT/CST Changes?

Our firm is engaged in trading business in Mumbai, and it is registered in Mumbai with VAT / CST numbers. I wanted to start a new branch office in Rajasthan. Please tell me what the procedure is to open a new branch:

- Should we apply for fresh registration in Rajasthan?
- Will our VAT / CST numbers be changed?

In response to your query, I will try to provide a reply. You need to register your firm under the Rajasthan Shop and Establishment Act and obtain a sub-code under ESI for your VAT/CST account. Personnel will be able to guide you on this matter.
