Hello,
Could you please let me know about the P.F. registration rules at the earliest..
1) Is it that if the co. has flat 20 employees - registration is mandatory irrespective of basic
OR
2) Is it that employees whose basic is < 6500, if such 20 employees are on roll then we have to register for PF
OR
Is it that now the 6500 slab is revised to Rs. 10,000 for the IT sector.
Could you please give me details of any site which will give latest PF rules.
Your help would be of great significance.
Thanks,
Shalene

As per new amendment, 10 employees then registration is memdatory, current maximum Basic+DA limit is Rs.6500/-PM one can take permission to pay above 6500/-p.m.
The slab for IT sector I belive is the same.
