Hi all,

Kindly suggest some good locations or resorts in and around Bangalore for a day team outing. The facilities required are as below:

1. Breakfast, lunch, snacks (Breakfast is not mandatory).
2. Indoor and outdoor games (preferably water games).
3. Private space for conducting team-building activities.

Please suggest some good places. The budget is around 800-900 per person, and there are a total of 40-60 people.

You can try Eagleton Resorts. This is near Bidadi (on the way to Mysore). Excellent indoor and outdoor activities (including golf) are available. It matches your price range. They also have a swimming pool, but they charge an extra Rs. 100/- for it. You can negotiate and ask them to include it in the day package. We have had many of our offsite meetings at Eagleton. They also offer rooms if you wish to stay overnight.

Hi Govinda,

We don't want an overnight stay; it's just a full-day program. If you can suggest some places with water games included, I have a place in mind, i.e., Club Cabana. However, last year, my company had visited that place, so we can't go there again. They arrange for lunch, snacks, and also have some water games like Lazy River, etc. Kindly suggest if you are aware of any other place.

You could check with Silver Silt at 9880017405. They conduct workshops around Sira (Tumkur Road).

Dear Gayatri,

You can try TSL Club for the team outing. It's a nice place. I have been there with a team of 90 people. It has some wonderful indoor as well as outdoor facilities for team-building activities.

You can call their number, which is 080-41732777.

Thanks,
Srinivasa

Hi Gayathri,

You can plan to visit this place. It is on Kanakapura road called 'GUHANTARA,' an underground resort. A good place to have fun with a big team. Additionally, there is a place outside to conduct team-building activities. They can also organize rain dances, rock climbing, etc. Give it a try, and please let me know your feedback if you choose this place for an outing.

Good Luck,
Nirmala

Dear All,

I have visited the TSL Club and Discovery Village site, and it seems interesting. Could you please inform me about the budget for a full-day program? Also, do they arrange for food? I have planned for a half-day team-building activity and half-day self-enjoyment activities. Therefore, the place should have facilities to accommodate both activities together.

Surely, I will inquire about the place. If found suitable, then I will provide you the feedback for the same.

Hi Gayatri,

For team-building activities, you can check TSL Club & Resort. I am sure it will fit your budget. They have a man-made lake in the resort.

Thank you everyone for the valuable information. Many have recommended TSL Group, so I will definitely check its facility, but the swimming pool looks very small. I am also very interested in Wonderla, as they have many water as well as dry games. However, the company also needs some private space for its own team-building exercises. Can anyone confirm whether they can provide private space for these activities? Also, what will be the estimated expense including food (lunch, snacks, tea)? Do they arrange for that as well?

Dear Gayathri,

Guhanthara is a little bit different from others. It has a man-made waterfall, pool, etc. Do try it once. We had been there recently and enjoyed it. You can talk to them and negotiate a package.

@Johney: I checked the TSL pics; a really good place for team-building exercises. Do the resort people arrange for the games, or was it arranged by your company people?

@Chandra: Isn't Guhantara a small place for a day outing? I think it's an awesome place for a half-day activity, but to engage for a whole day, it doesn't have sufficient facilities.

@Subru: Yes, I checked the Oldie's website; it seems interesting. Do you have any idea about its per person expenditure, including food?

Hi,

Guhantara report is perfect for a team outing. Our company had taken us there last month.

Dear Arashu,

I know, even I am very excited about the same place. But last year my company had a family day out over there, so I can't refer to the same place again this time. Though I was not part of the company at that time, I want to arrange somewhere better than Club Cabana, as now people will start comparing with last year's arrangement. But truly, Club Cabana is an awesome place for a team outing as it provides private space for both team-building activities and also good, exciting games. The best part is the food is also good. No one had any complaints last time. Whoever has not visited yet, must go once.

Hi Gayatri,

I guess around the same budget as what you have in mind. I know the owners Captain Dinesh Nayar at 9902900988, and David Ramesh at 9845010112. Why don't you call? You could give my reference to Subroto at 9972776767.

Hi Gayatri,

It can be done either way... If you want activities to be conducted on your own, you are free to do that. We received help from a TSL trainer, and it was a wonderful experience. They even have a small man-made lake inside the club where boating can be done. They also offer other activities like trekking, rappelling, rafting, etc. at their place.

You can contact them at 9741955866 / 41732777.
