It's the same query for me as well. Why is HR being used for multiple purposes like Business HR and HR Generalist, and what's the difference between them?

Business HR is a term commonly used in BPOs. This is the Employee Relations Division of HR. It is used as one needs to coordinate with employees working in different shifts and help them with their HR needs. Business HR also normally works in shifts.

Business HR liaises with the Compensation and Benefits team and the Recruitment team for all issues that employees may have regarding payroll, medical insurance, employee referrals, attendance, leave, etc.
