Seeking Advice on Choosing the Best Indian University for an Online Ph.D. in HR/Management

Dear All Seniors,

I wish to do a Ph.D. in HR/Management from any renowned Indian University/Institute through distance learning mode/online. I am a BSc graduate with a 2-year PGDPM and 17+ years of experience. I hereby request your guidance on which university/Institute I should opt for.

I am also trying for the same, but so far, as of today, I haven't got any such opportunity. Based on my search and research, no valid university offers this kind of facility. As far as I know, you can't register without a PG degree for a Ph.D. However, you can opt for MPhil and then do your thesis. There is a cut-off marks limit in MPhil. Check with any university. The Ph.D. guidelines are more or less the same.

I am aware of three universities/institutes imparting Ph.D. through distance learning, namely:

1. AIMA: Conducts RMAT for granting admission, costing about 85K. Admission will start in September/October. Awards Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University in Management.

2. IMT (Ghaziabad): Admission will start in April '09; eligibility is a Master's degree with 75% + experience or a professional degree with 60% + 15 years of experience. Fees are 55K. It awards a degree from Guru Gobind Singh University (Delhi) in H.R. Ph.D.

3. IGNOU: MPhil is required for a Ph.D.

I am searching for other universities to start a Ph.D. at once.
