Seeking Feedback: Does My 2-Day Presentation Skills Module Work for You?

I'm putting together this presentation skills 2-day module, which includes exercises and concepts. Please let me know if they were useful. I have conducted this for junior-level to middle-level management with multiple clients and have received good feedback for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Please give me some ideas. Our organization is a mid-level organization in the training sector. We need to do something to get a little closer to every employee of our organization and touch base. Our management aims to create a better learning experience and environment for everyone here. Currently, we do not have proper HR practices in place. While we are proficient in payroll management, we are lacking in core HR practices such as training, development, and motivation. Please provide me with ideas that will help every employee feel that the management genuinely cares.

You have covered topics like voice modulation, postures, sequence, etc. I would appreciate it if you could add some slides on the use of fonts, size, and the best combination of colors. This is very important because I have seen many presentations where the content was not readable.

Good content, but I would prefer the fonts not be in reddish hue against a black background. It's straining on the eyes.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I conduct training on the same lines; indeed, it is very effective. I video record the first and the last presentation and show them how they performed. I handle it for 3 days. Very effective, and they will also know the difference from the first recording. Cheers!

Your posts are very informative and precise. My suggestion is that a presentation should have minimal words. Use appropriate pictures as this makes the participants inquisitive. The slide is just the backdrop from which you build and give them the necessary inputs; you can use the footnotes area for jotting down your notes. Lately, I have been preparing presentations and delivering the same. I have seen the difference. Hope the information is useful.

You asked for it! The subject matter and contents are, of course, good. You may want to consider looking into the effective use of colors for presentation, the effects of color on health, how eyes can be damaged with the use of various colors, and how colors can affect mood. Your selection of colors for the PowerPoint presentation is horrible and dangerous for the eyes - it is toxic.

If you accept my suggestion, I am sure it will be rewarding.
