Left Brain vs. Right Brain: Can You Control Your Foot's Direction with This Simple Trick?

zarora
This is one of the strangest things - Left Brain vs. Right Brain.

While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand finger. Your foot will change directions (anticlockwise) and there is nothing you can do about it!

Hi all,

It is simple: at first, your leg starts rotating clockwise. Fine. But while writing 6 in the air, your finger starts writing anticlockwise. Hence, the sense of nerve will naturally pass to the leg, and it starts rotating anticlockwise. This is a natural tendency of the body to follow other parts.

Cheers,
Ajay :)

Hi all,

I think the answer is simple. First, your right foot starts rotating clockwise. Next, when you write '6' in the air, it starts rotating in anticlockwise direction. Naturally, your foot also starts to rotate anticlockwise. Since the concentration is more on the second activity (writing '6' in the air anticlockwise), the same signals will be conveyed to the foot, and it starts rotating anticlockwise. If you have double concentration, you can rotate the foot clockwise and write 'Six' clockwise as well. This can be achieved through practice.

Cheers,
Ajay :)
