Should Personal Photos Be on Cite HR? Seeking Opinions on Keeping It Professional

Dear All,

I would like to understand the purpose of uploading personal photographs on Cite HR personal album. Don't you all feel that this is a professional website and personal photographs should not be uploaded? For example, someone's tour to Singapore or Mauritius, or kids playing around at their place.

The album option provided should also be used for professional purposes and not personal. I would like to know what others, especially seniors, have to say about this issue.

Thank you for your views. I can say that you have spoken the minds of many of the members who share the same view as you. It is really not required. Also, in the name of humor, many jokes that are not supposed to appear on such a professional website are showing up.

It is high time the moderator takes note of it and takes remedial action.

I too strongly agree with you. The photographs of only CiteHR meets and HR related activities should be allowed on CiteHR. Personal photos are just spoiling the professional platform of CiteHR. There are many other sites on which one can upload their photographs to show them to the public. On CiteHR, anybody (professionally minded) is not interested to see personal photographs.

It is the truth that this platform is not for posting pictures. The sole purpose of this site is for HR professionals to discuss their problems and find solutions with the help of this platform.

I do agree with the above because HR photographs are allowed here, not personal ones.

Everyone should understand the worth of this network. We are here to share our views, to solve our issues, etc., as there are vivid sites for fun-loving people like Orkut, messengers, etc. Please understand the significance of this site. It will be fruitful to us only.

I don't understand the purpose or the intention behind uploading personal photos here. All are professional and well-matured; they should know the difference. I appreciate you for raising this topic.
