Taking a sidewalk would still qualify to be a narrow vision! Taking an alternate path is what would qualify as a good enough change. The inability to do something different. The inability to move out of the rut. The inability to look beyond the obvious and the convenient. This is what hampers progress as well as one's ability to handle change. The difference between taking the sidewalk and taking an alternate path is akin to thinking and lateral thinking!
