Confused About Further HR Studies After a Master's? Seeking Advice on Next Steps in Pune

Hi Shyamali,

I saw your earlier posts and I think you are the right person to consult about HR courses after Master's degree in HR. I have done Master's degree in HR and want to study further, but I am confused about what I should study so that it will be an added advantage. I don't want to do any diploma course as I have already completed a master's in Personnel Management.

How about an M.Phil or Sociology course? I am in Pune and want to study there as I am also working. Please help me with the same as soon as possible.

There are many options you can choose after your MPM depending on which career you are in.

Suppose you want to be in academics, you can surely go for M.Phil and Ph.D. There is nothing better than a Ph.D. for this line.

If you are in corporates, then you can go for specialized courses, something more specific such as a degree in Training and Development, Certified courses in Recruitment, Performance Management, etc.

If you are inclined towards IT, then the SAP HR course is wonderful and will help you in the long term as well.

And dear Pune is a wonderful city, there are so many options for studies there. I'm also a pass out of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. 😄
