Hi Nidhi,

The welcome kit is given on the day of the induction/orientation of the new joinees to the organization. This may be not on the same day of the joining but on a particular day wherein quite a few new joinees can attend.

The welcome kit basically would have:

1. The offer of appointment
2. Annexures - remuneration, terms of employment, checklist.
3. Appraisal form
4. Salary account form
5. Insurance details
6. System admin requisition forms
7. PF forms and other account department forms
8. Employee Handbook - if very elaborate, not necessary to be given. Posted on the intranet with a feedback form.

This is what we are following in our company. Hope this should be fine.

Regards,
DG
