Implementing a New Gradation System: Insights from Salary Surveys in India and the Gulf

Dear Friends,

I have implemented a new Gradation, Designation (revamping), and Salary refitment for my company. I have designed a flow chart to implement the new system and also studied the market salaries for the Gulf and India to benchmark salaries in my company with the market rates.

A team called the "Compensation Review Team" (CRT) was formed by me to process and implement the new system. I am forwarding this information to you; it will assist you in implementing the new Gradation System.

Dear Anil,

Thanks for the post. Please guide me on how to conduct a salary survey and how to do grading based on salary. You mentioned in your post that salary details were collected from portals like Monster, Naukri, Times, etc. How are you collecting them (whether by the salary range from the job postings)?

Are the survey details you obtained from GulfTalent, Hay, etc., to be purchased or not? Please guide me on this. If so, what would be the normal cost, and which one would be more reliable?
