Please find attached a Zip file for Salary income, Income from House Property, and other sources of income group for e-filing of your Income Tax Return for the Financial year 2007-2008 (A.Y. 2008-2009). It is very easy to fill the form. After filling the form, validate each sheet, generate the XML file, and upload the same by visiting the website www.incometaxindia.gov.in. Upon visiting the website, proceed to E-File, click on Income Tax Return, and enter your User ID and password. Your User ID is your PAN. If you have not registered earlier, please register now using your PAN as the User ID and choose a password. Follow the instructions to upload the XML file. Upon uploading, an ITR-V will be generated. After obtaining the ITR-V, print out two copies, along with two copies of the Excel format of ITR_2008_09_R1h. Submit one copy to the Income Tax Department and receive an official Acknowledgement on the other copy for your records. Form 16 copy is not required by the Income Tax Department. Only file ITR-V and ITR2.
