Dear Dudes!

Can you clarify my questions? What do you mean by recruitment? What is recruiting? What is headhunting?

Thanks,

Hi,

In response to your questions: Recruitment is a positive process in which you try to attract the desired candidate to your organization. The procedure of recruitment is recruiting. Headhunting means selecting the right individuals for a job, similar to selection but with some minimum criteria.

Thank you.

Headhunting is one of the strategies to get relevant data. For example, if you have a shortage of data for Java professionals, then you will have to make some strategies to pull out more relevant candidates from the existing pool. Some consultancies do hide their identities while doing so.

I believe you understand what I am trying to convey. Please reply regarding this. Does anyone know better what headhunting is?

Warm Regards,

Hi,

Hope this will help you.

Recruitment refers to the process of finding possible candidates for a job or function, undertaken by recruiters. It may be done by an employment agency or a member of staff at the business or organization looking for recruits. Either way, it may involve advertising, commonly in the recruitment section of a newspaper or in a newspaper dedicated to job adverts. Employment agencies will often advertise jobs in their windows. Posts can also be advertised at a job center if they are targeting the unemployed.

Headhunting is the business of recruiting personnel, especially executive personnel, as for a corporation. In an organization, when they require personnel with very specific qualifications, they do headhunting, which is done by agencies specialized for this purpose.

Recruiting is nothing but the process of recruitment; it is the verb form of recruitment. It basically depends on how the word is used. Suppose an employee says, "Our organization is recruiting software engineers."

Please ask me if you still have any problems.

Gunjan

Hi,

The process of recruitment contains 2 steps:

1. In-house/direct recruitment: In this process, you recruit from lower-position employees to higher ones within the organization.

2. Out-house/indirect recruitment: In this process, you seek the help of experts (consultants) to recruit employees.

Divya
