I am in the process of creating a new confirmation appraisal format that would be standard across the organization. I need assistance with sample formats, questionnaires, assessment areas, and competencies. I require help in preparing the same. If you have any formats, I would appreciate it if the same can be shared.

- Communication
- Attitude

The focus should be on judging the ability to handle situations, eagerness for growth or learning, and meeting the organization's expectations.

Hi all,

I have a query regarding the confirmation letter. I would like to know who should sign the letter. Following are different options:

1. The person who signed the appointment letter (MD/CEO).
2. The immediate boss of the concerned person whose confirmation is taking place.
3. HR Manager.
4. Both HR and the immediate supervisor.

Kindly let us know your suggestions.

Hi Seema,

The general HR process for confirming an employee would be if the organization has an HR Department. The line manager/HOD, along with the supervisor if there is one; otherwise, only the HOD will appraise the probationer's performance and sign the probation appraisal form with a remark to HR, either to confirm or terminate services. The HR manager will then sign and forward the confirmation letter to the HOD for issuance to the employee.
