Dear Mr. Sathish,

It is very well-compiled and certainly useful for everyone. However, please note the following changes to be updated:

1) The maximum ceiling of payment of gratuity is enhanced to Rs. 10,00,000/- (w.e.f 31/05/2010).
2) The average wage for coverage of Workmen's Compensation is amended from Rs. 6,500 per month to Rs. 8,000/- (w.e.f 25/05/2010).

Dear Varun Thaker,

Your posting is very nice, but it is only a copy and paste because you haven't updated the amendments in various acts. For instance, the Payment of Gratuity ceiling limit is now 10,00,000, the ESI Act limit is 15000/-, and the Bonus Act ceiling limit is 10000/-, among others. Please make the necessary corrections and then circulate the updated information.

Good article, but it is not updated on valuable matters like the Gratuity Act. The present limit is increasing from Rs. 3,50,000/- to Rs. 10,00,000/- maximum, and other matters are also changing.
