Starting My First Recruitment & Selection Project: What Should I Include and How?

Hi,

I have started working on a Recruitment & Selection Project. I want to know what different things can be included in this project. If I have to include a questionnaire, what questions can be included in it? This is my first project, and I have no idea how to proceed. Please help.

You can try your project by including:

1) the (common or specific) processes that a company follows.

2) You can try doing a survey on the recruitment processes of some reputed companies in that region.

3) You can do a benchmark survey for the recruitment process for THIS company & suggest how they can improve their process. The questionnaire NEEDS to be open-ended and would have very simple questions related to the processes, targets for acquiring manpower, and how the process of manpower planning and succession takes place, the numbers from last year - which were press released, etc.

Some googling about the questionnaire would definitely help.

Thank you for your help. I think this information will be beneficial for me. I am currently undertaking my summer training in a manufacturing company. They have assigned us a project on recruitment and selection. However, they have not provided us with any details regarding recruitment within their organization. Dear Ms. Nidhi & Kavita,

Before you go for recruitment and Selection Process topic project, selecting a company is most challenging. Do the project where mass recruitment is going on, where you can have lots of sample data. Please tell me in which sector you are working.

Even I did my project on Recruitment & selection process from ICICI Bank, but I didn't get much exposure to the topic. Don't do the project just for the name's sake, do it differently from what others are doing. Please find some tips on the recruitment process and selection process details.
