Understanding the Employee Development Index: How Do I Prepare the Metrics and Measures?

I have been asked by my department to prepare the Employee Development Index. Could anybody help me with this issue? What does Employee Development Index mean, and how do I prepare the metrics and measures?

Can I give one suggestion? You can create a skill matrix for all employees. I think it's equivalent to the Employee Development Index.

Thank you very much for your response to the post. The Employee Development Index is meant to satisfy the basic needs of employees and assess how their satisfaction is related to their performance. It reflects the rating an employee gives regarding their satisfaction with the organization, typically on a scale from 1 to 10.
