It is to be noted that the format of Salary Slips should be in the prescribed formats as per the applicable/respective labor laws. Therefore, before finalizing the format, you should refer to those Acts/Rules to avoid making mistakes and ensure compliance with the prescribed contents. For example, the Code on Wages, state's Shops & Commercial Establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act/Rules, etc.
Moreover, signing and issuing the salary slips individually is important as many employees may require them to apply for bank loans, etc. For those units following the Cost to Company (CTC) pattern of emoluments, care should be taken for appropriate action.
