Knowledge Transfer During Reshuffles: How Effective Are Tacit and Explicit Strategies?

Pankaj2008
Hi,

Is it really possible for an organization to ensure that knowledge is transferred within the organization when people reshuffle? To what extent is the theory of tacit and explicit knowledge effective?

Your ideas, please.

Hi,

Having received no response to my previous post on Knowledge Transfer Management, I continued to work on it. Here is a PowerPoint file that sheds some light on this concept. I hope this will be useful to those who are interested in this theory. All the best. :=)

Hi folks,

I am working on a research paper on Knowledge Management practices in organizations. If you have KM practices in your organizations, please share the type of KM practices you have.

Thanks,

Molly

Hi Pankaj. The PowerPoint presentation that you have shared here was really good.

In this competitive world, organizations are now mainly focusing on knowledge management and the knowledge transfer process, where they find their people with wide experience and knowledge of the work. The day-to-day functioning of the work process is stored, and once this experienced person leaves, it is a big loss to the company. However, now it is seen that this loss is mitigated by many ways to help newcomers succeed in the organization, such as mentoring, documentation, knowledge sharing, transfer, and many more methods of knowledge management.

Hello, can anyone give me any details on knowledge management and how one can conduct a survey on knowledge management in different industries?

Hi Pankaj,

In my perspective, the management of knowledge is very vital for an organization, and keeping a proper eye on it is a critical exercise to be done. Both tactical and explicit knowledge are equally significant to be maintained and effectively utilized in an organization to achieve the set objectives. An organization must adopt and practice a holistic approach to equally incorporate both types of knowledge at various organization levels.
