Need Help Choosing a Research Topic in the Retail Industry for My HR Master's Program

I will be taking up research in my second year of masters in HR, and for that, I am allocated the Retail Sector. Can you people help in selecting a topic in retail? I basically want to know on which topic I should do my research in the RETAIL INDUSTRY.

Selection, Training, and Retention in retail are very relevant these days. You may select a project relating to these. You may like to conduct a study on what attributes are responsible for attrition in the retail sector and which are the ones that help retain. This can provide insights for developing strategies/processes of selection and training. The survey to gather the data will certainly be a challenging aspect of such a project.

The main HR problem in the retail sector is attrition. A project on how to reduce attrition would be a better choice. One of my friends is in Hyderabad with a major retail company who may be able to assist you.
