I am getting what are you looking for.. Please clear your point.
As per my understanding, You can talk to your immediate senior or your colleague. Now you are already entered in corporate world, do not be panic and don’t be nervous. Every problem has solution. So go ahead. Discuss about it with your peers & colleagues.
All the best,

I had discuss with CMD also. He knows that i don't have routing work. But he still want me in his block to assist him as and when required in urgency.

Hello friend,

As a first step keep a log sheet of activities you do - if possible collect data for the last 2-3 months. This will give you and idea of what kind of activities you are involved in. You can also list the defects that occured during the last 2-3 months.

Now you can take "improvement projects" for example - reduce cost of travel, reduce cost of air travel through economy airline bookings/ bookings in advance by proper planning. Reduce energy cost. Reduce time to complete certain activities thourgh simplified procedure/ preparing standard formats/ Simple computer programs etc.
Reduce errors/mistakes from say 10% to 5%. In short you can always decide to reduce cost, reduce errors{ improve quality}, Improve time required to complete the work.

Additionally since you are from HR - you may take up KPI as " Organize 2 sessions on Health" 2 Sessions on Stress management, Conduct 2 teambuilding events, Organize 2 social events in the next 3 months.

Such time bound action plan will give you sense of achivement when you complete them and also help the organisation.
