I have an IT recruiting background and have now changed my job to the Corporate HR department in a small IT company. This company has had an HR department for the past 3 years, but it has not been properly set up. Now, the management has asked me to write an HR manual outlining procedures for various tasks such as recruitment, performance appraisal, induction, and other HR-related activities. I am currently at a loss as I have no prior knowledge of this. I would appreciate help from an HR professional in an IT company.
I am not looking for someone to spoon-feed me, but having a skeleton outline of the formats would be extremely helpful.
