Hello Sir, The objective of my study was to study why people prefer public sector employment and were they really satisfied with the compensation over there?

You could state you hypotheses as
1. either that the people (who you surveyed) prefered public sector employment or that they had no preference.
2. the people (who you surveyed) in the PS were more satisfied with the compensation than those from the private sector.
