Curious About SAP HR Careers: Will I Be a Fresher After My Course? Seeking Advice from Experts

ramanicm@gmail.com
Greetings to all,

I'm Shifali from Bangalore. I have completed my MSc in Biotech and have overall 2 years of experience in the recruitment industry. Now I am planning to pursue my Executive MBA in HR and also my SAP HR Course. I want to build my career in SAP HR.

I have some queries for senior SAP HR professionals:

1) Since I do not have any SAP HR experience, will I be considered as a fresher after completing my SAP Course?
2) How is the career growth in this field?
3) How well are SAP HR professionals paid based on experience?

Awaiting your kind reply.

Thank you,
Shifali

Hi,

I am Krishna, working as an Associate HR in an HR Outsourcing Consulting firm in Hyderabad. In response to your query about SAP-HR, I would like to share my experience with you regarding SAP-HR.

SAP-HR is an advanced technology in the field of HR. I completed my MBA in June 2007. Soon after finishing my MBA, I pursued a SAP-HR course in Hyderabad.

1) Initially, you must have clarity regarding your goals.

2) As far as my knowledge is concerned, you must have domain experience, i.e., real-time experience in General HR for at least 2 years in a reputable company where there is ample scope for learning.

3) You must know the loopholes in the HR domain; only then can you perform well in SAP-HR.

4) There is currently an insufficient workforce in India for SAP-HR.

5) Companies that have implemented SAP-HR also tend to prefer candidates with real-time experience in the HR domain.

6) Don't waste your valuable money and time by focusing too much on SAP-HR right now. Instead, try to gain knowledge in General HR.

7) Most importantly, avoid obtaining any fake certificates as it poses a risk.

8) Certification courses like SIEMENS are beneficial, even if you are a fresher.
