Understanding PF and ESI Salary Limits: Can You Clarify the Rs. 6,500 Threshold?

I want to know the salary limits for PF and ESI. I need clarification regarding the Rs. 6,500.00 salary limit for PF. Please help me.

Yes, Rs. 6,500/- of Basic is the limit to deduct PF. If the Basic is more than Rs. 6,500/-, then it is left to the company whether to continue PF for the employee or not.

For ESI, Rs. 10,000/- is the limit. Below this limit, you have to pay ESI.
