I also, suggest not to go for termination at this point of time as he had not done anything harm with that particular incident in the first place. And if u terminate him, that definitely will cause issues to him particularly psychic. Hence learn more on this and is best way to start with is to discuss on this issue with one of his close relative/friend who actually can give the depth of his psychic problem. Try to give consideration to the associate if u can, and keep in mind "Termination" is the last option.
