Salary-Slips...Just A Thought...

Dear All,
We as HR professionals involved in recruitment do come across fake/manipulated pay-slips, which add to a lot of wastage of time as those candidates can never be termed as genuine. I believe, there will be no two opinions on the fact that salary slip is a financial document which is honored not only by HR professionals but also by financial institutions for providing loans, credit cards etc. Still some people take salary slips too lightly and manipulate the same.
Has anyone ever thought of informing the candidates that such an act would put them in trouble as you may go ahead with filing a police complaint against such candidates? Would it really help?
Suggestions required....
Regards,
Arun

Dear Friend
Forging with the documents i.e Forgery is always a criminal offence.
at the same time ignorance of law is no defence, so it is presumed that everybody must know law.
intimating to employees regarding this is our duty i think...

Fake salary slip is itself a crimnal offence if it is signed in any other offices name.
But I have another question, that what about if the organisations don't give salary slip to employees? Though Labour law states clearly on this front that salary muste must be maintained and format for the same is given.
Ogansiation maintaines such muster, but don't provide salary slip to employees, which as us said is a document of good importance.
We, the HR professionals working with the same (my organisation is one such we dont provide salary slip) organisation ever thought in this line. What would an employee do if he couldn't get the salary slip form his organisation (not the justification to your question, i am strongly against any such fake documents)?

I fully support Ms. Shah's views. I have personally suffered as an candidate. My previous employer was not giving salary slips. He was also not ready to issue a salary certificate.
Any interviewer will obviously consider such a candidate as non-genuine. What would anyone do?

Dear Ms. Shah and Astrospek,
Even your company or Organization doesn't provide the Salary Slip to Employee, It is Compulsory on them to provide that whenever on demand (Right of Information Act). But even they does not willing to provide you the same then go for your Bank Statements. I think every one got his/her salary from Bank A/c instead of By Hand or in cash. So you can produce your Bank Statements as a salary slip.
And Ms. Shah although you are not getting any Salary slip from Organization you can't take any advantage from it for making fake Salary Slip. It’s a Criminal Offence and you can't explain it Before Court because it is a Worthless Explanation.
Astrospek: at the time of Interview even Interviewer consider candidate as a non-genuine one, It is totally depends on you how to Convince him that you are a genuine one.
Regards,
Ajinkya.
