How Should I Structure My Organization by Division: HR, Admin, Ops, Finance, and More?

Can anybody help me regarding the proper organizational structure division-wise, such as HR, Administration, Operations, Finance, and Personnel?

Please find the Organogram formats attached. I have attached the original Visio (.vsd) file as well for your use.

In our organization, as the Software Engineering Department is huge, we have added it as a separate diagram. There are two tabs in the Visio Doc. The first one shows the main hierarchy, while the second one shows the hierarchy in the Software Engineering Department.

I'm not sure what you are exactly looking for, but you could also use specialized org chart software. For example, using Ingentis org.manager could save you some time since the drawing is done by the software. You would only need some kind of data source that holds the structural information (who reports to whom or which department is above which department).

Hi friends, can somebody tell me a shortcut in Visio? I mean to say, there is one way to draw an OG chart in Visio wherein you can just write down everything in an Excel or Word file and, with the help of the Organization Wizard, you can directly convert that file into a Visio OG chart.
