Seeking Feedback on My E-HR Site Idea to Connect Job Seekers and Employers in Third World Countries

HRwise
I have this idea for an e-HR site, and I would like to hear opinions as well as suggestions on it.

In a flash, it's going to be a site where employers and employees meet. Most countries in the third world have a high level of unemployment, usually worsened by the lack of information on vacancies.

I propose that a site be created where unemployed persons would have their resumes posted, categorized according to disciplines and their interested industries.

The site would have information from various industries and their vacancies which the member unemployed persons would view and apply through the site. Also, an email can be sent to every candidate eligible for the vacancy to consider applying.

The selection process can begin with the owner of the site (HR specialists) interviewing the interested candidates and forwarding the most eligible to the organizations that have requested them for further interviewing.

Another attraction would be the interview coaching materials that will be made available to members and other needs necessary to help them get employed or become self-employed.

It's really still raw, but I would like to hear suggestions or opinions on this.

Thank you,

HRwise.

Hello HRWise,

It's truly an idea that's not just worth consideration but appreciation as well. I suggest checking out sites like monster.com that are operating along similar lines. You may also want to explore sites such as guru.com and elance.com to gather more food for thought for yourself and like-minded individuals.

You are thinking in the right direction. Involving HR professionals in the panels of such sites and actively striving to connect with deserving candidates would indeed be a good idea, I believe. It's worth considering the business model for such platforms as well.

While using Flash would undoubtedly enhance the site's attractiveness, it may come at the expense of bandwidth, which is often a premium resource in areas where unemployment is prevalent.

Keep contemplating this noble cause. Good luck.

Hi HR Wise,

Really, one of the good ideas. As it is, here most probably guys are from an HR background itself can help each other in a more suitable way. We can describe our own choice of place, interest of job profile, etc., which even on a job site we can't mention that effectively. But you need to gather all for the same and even take help of some HR guys who are already working in different companies. So just go ahead, and if you are looking for any help, please let me know.
