After a significant lull period in our consistent CiteHR UAE Forum Meets, let's get together for our CiteHR UAE Forum MEET 6.

Date: The proposed date for CiteHR UAE MEET 6 is 27th November 2009.

Venue: Dubai. (Exact venue details will be emailed to the registered members.)

Timings: 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

EVENT guidelines - Formation of AGENDA:

Please be informed, especially those members who are new and looking forward to attending this MEET for the first time, as many inquiries from new members have been noticed.

The Final Agenda is shaped up 2 to 4 days prior to the event day and is based on active participation and nominations from registered members for these Meets.

All members are requested to participate and voluntarily share their knowledge in terms of short presentations of 20 minutes each on selected topics.

The group is formed on an informal level, and the sole objective is knowledge sharing and professional networking. Hence, the registration is not very stringent. But at the same time, we all ensure that we have proactive participants.

I remember you had sent the same query a year back. At that time, you were in South India working for a company. Anyways, glad to know that you are coming to Abu Dhabi. Believe me, it's not a problem, I am sure. Once you reach the UAE, get in touch, and we will have a small session for you—an orientation program on HR in the UAE. By then, enjoy your marriage.

As for us, our hiring happens face to face, since 90% of the candidates need to go through technical tests. For the remaining 10%, it would not be feasible to opt for this method, considering the total cost and maintenance. For us, traditional hiring methods work fine. I believe the majority of others would agree with this.
