I read that the professional tax celling for AP is increased to 5000 /- but,
am not able to get any circular or govt notification regarding the same.

we have a query regarding Professional Tax of employees in Himachal Sorang (Himachal Pradesh)
1. Profession Tax is not applicable for the state of Himachal (as confirmed by our collegues at shimla)
2. Whether we need to deduct professional tax of employees at hyderabad (working in same company only 8 members)
3. If yes where should we register & pay it.

You have get your branch at Hyd registered under professional tax and start remitting the tax monthly in accordance to the salary paid to the employees. Employer PT is payable annually.
