Is XLRI's HR Certificate Worth It for My Career Growth with My Current Qualifications?

Recently, I received information that XLRI has started a one-year certificate course in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) all over India. They will teach us through satellite in our cities. The fees for the course are Rs. 1,80,000.

I have completed Law and an MBA in HR online from Symbiosis through distance learning, as well as a Masters of Labour Management (MLM) from Madurai Kamaraj University through distance learning.

I am feeling confused. With this level of qualification, will this certificate course contribute to my career growth? Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

I don't think so... you need to have a regular MBA if you want to hit the bull. You can consider the 1-year MBA programs. It depends on what sort of risk you can take and other details.

Dear Mili,

Already, you have two postgraduate degrees, so it's not necessary to pursue a certificate course from XLRI. The contents and course curriculum would be the same if you were to take this course. This course would be an added advantage if you did not already possess these two postgraduate degrees.
