Seeking Your Input: How Do You Structure a Disciplinary Inquiry Flow Chart?

rhodzr
Hi HR colleagues,

I'm looking for a sample disciplinary inquiry flow chart, or you may call it your employee relations flow chart. Feedback is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rodel

Please review the attached PPT on the procedures for conducting disciplinary actions. The same is available in this forum itself as originally posted by me in February/March 08.

Hi Madhu,

Thank you for the helpful disciplinary action slides. Can I know why and when we should allow the employee to call his representative to help defend him in an inquiry? Is the company obliged to ask the employee whether he needs to have a defense helper (or rep)?

Thank you.

Regards,

Wee

You need not ask him directly, but he will present himself with a helper. Normally, the enquiry letter will also state that "you are required to present before the enquiry officer by yourself or with a helper".
