Hi Senthil ,
I think your HR has some ego problem, this not the first time this problem has come up, many like you face this problem from their superiors but you should not respond to that, do what you mind says its right. you are seems to be a very kind person, its reflects in your quarry. don,t let the world change your attitude let the world adopt your attitude. That what i have learned from my HR superior. when you go up the ladder you should be more humble, polite, concern but it is not the same with everyone some lose mind when get succeed
Always keep in mind that The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. The first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking and you have got the first-rate thinking so keep it going
thanks

Hello Senthil,
Our Seniors have given useful inputs.
I also agree the behaviour with the candidates should be professional, not too much friendly. Reducing their stress or making them feel comfortable is a good motive but to certain extent only.
With regard to your boss's behaviour, I suggest handle it diligently. Don't go directly against her as she is your boss. You may politely inform her, in view of company's image, you feel it worthwhile writing the regret mails rather asking Security to send the candidates back.
Be assertive and not agressive in your actions towards her. Keep up the good work!
All the best.

People the their own mindset and thought or behavior but you need to respect other employees and people coming for interview and all the functions should be done with professionalism. Being too friendly with the candidates is also not a good thing.

The Discussion has been very helpful.I have been in sales for 14 years and now in HR.In sales we always treat people with great respect and dignity.(even if they are junior staff of our current prospective orcustomers).
The practise followed by Mr Senthil is right and maybe his boss needs some training in interpersonal skills. The size of organization is big and it should be concerned about its image and messages its management team is sending.
