Per last interaction with EPFO office, July 23rd is supposedly the day when the interest will be credited. Fingers crossed.

Its July 24, 3.30pm.
I have a doubt, it is almost 4 months late in crediting interest. So will we get the interest on this 4 months interest in the next year?

Absolute this government is. When it comes to us paying it would be done immediately but when it comes to getting our own money it takes ages..
Absolute rubbish government which has almost broken the back bone of the middle class honest taxpayers.

Why it happens with salaries people everytime. Paying tax is not enough ?
It is also bad that their UAN portal doesn't have enough flexibility to update the details too. Their toll free number keeps busy whole day. I am totally frustrated with this.
When considering these things, Should I do my work or just take follow up for my money everytime?

Still I don't see interest credit. Could someone clarify if the interest will be credited with back date (31-March-2018). If not what will happen to the interest (of the interest) for the four months in current year.
sangeetmittal1
yes it will be on back date 31st march 2018
