1) How to define the general and specific competencies
2) How do we judge them . (if we are using BEI how should the questionaire be prepared
3) How do we sum up the entire exercise

Thanx vinay for such a complete presentation. It entails every aspect of competency mapping encompassing methods of competency mapping, competency models, competency dictionary & the implementation of data collected in the form of recruitment & selection, performance appraisal & training needs identificaton. Very good presentation indeed but 1 thing was missing in it - competency matrix. its with the use of competency matrix that we get to know the generic, managerial & functional competencies used in competency models.
