@rock francis - Hi! I can guide you w.r.t pf. As very well explained by Mr. SyedHussain the pf is calculatd 12% on the Basic Pay+DA, which is contributed both by employee & employee. Though the employees can increase their % of contribution but the employer is not liable to pay beyond 12%.
e.g- Basic + DA = 4000. PF= 12%*400=Rs.480 to be deposited both by e/ee & e/er.

Apart from that 12% from both EE & ER there are 1.61% more from ER. this 1.61% will be shared various accounts as 1.1%, 0.5% & .01% for Admin Charges, EDLI Charges & EDLI Admin Charges
