When We Should Made Diwali Bonus Payment.

Hi Jyoti,
Jyoti things carry no value post a specific time period, i suppose.
So what i feel is that Bonus must be paid along with salary of Oct. month as Bonus links with Dewali, it has feelings of the festival.
It is not like if Bonus will not be paid than Employee will not celebrate the Festival or if paid they will have a Rocking kind of Festival.
But yes it does makes the differences. So being pat of Team HR, we are supposed to keep Employees Happy as much as possible.
So let them have Bonus with October month's salary only.
They will be happy and as you, because making some one happy, makes you happy, so indirectly you will make your self happy, rest you may decide better.

How can I identify that whether company has incurred a loss or profit in the last financial year?
If I want to see the balance sheet of my company how do get the information about it?

i am working in telecom company as a offrole employeee from 07 Nov 2012 onwards,my employer contract was started on August 2012....
now plz tell me whether i m eligible to get a BONUS or not...

If you are offroll, meaning you are working as a contract employee ?
In that case, you are eligible for statutory bonus if your salary is less than Rs. 10,000 per month.
However, please remember that the bonus you will get is equal to 1 or 2 months salary computed at a ceiling of Rs. 3500 per month.
So, yeah, you are not going to get much as statutory bonus......

The annual accounts of every company in india is a public document.
You can get a copy of the same from MCA website on payment of Rs. 50
(you get access to all documents filed with MCA for a period of 3 hours, not only the current annual accounts. You can download the documents into your PC and read at your leisure).
however, i would suggest you wait for a month. The AGMs are just over and the annual returns on the webiste should be filed in another few days.
