Reason To Tell Employer While Leaving

skhadir
Dear Ms. Vinita Aditya,

You could have started a NEW THREAD rather posting here. That would have been a better approach and will give scope for maximum members to post their suggestions/views.

At the outset, i appreciate your working attitude. Every organisation has got problems/issues etc. You need to understand these two points

1) What you can change

2) What you can't change

Don't be a SELF-CAUSE for inheriting STRESS resulting HEALTH PROBLEMS. Please avoid THINKING TOO MUCH.

In our life, its all about THINGS

1) The way we SEE things

2) The way we FEEL things

3) The way we THINK about things.

Please remember that,

1) Unless you are given an AUTHORITY, you can't take DECISIONS nor do anything POSITIVE in your ORGANISATION

2) Even if you are given an AUTHORITY, unless you are working with LIKE MINDED PROFESSIONALS and SUPERIOR/MANAGEMENT/OWNERS, you can bring CHANGES in your organisation.

You can submit a REPORT/PROPOSAL or PRESENT A PRESENTATION to your DIRECTORS stating "HOW TO BUILD/ESTABLISH EFFECTIVE ORGANISATION" while correlating with EXISTING PRACTICES in your organisation. If they are MATURED/DYNAMIC/EXPERIENCED/STRATEGIC ENTREPRENEURS, they will definitely consider and listen to your PROPOSAL or PRESENTATION. If they are not in a STATE OF MIND, look for a better time for approaching them else all EFFORTS will go in vain and i am sure, you will get FURTHER DEMOTIVATED, as you are now.

If you have any queries, please do write to me or share in this forum. There are experts, who can provide you best advice/suggestions.

Good Luck

With profound regards

Hi Yash, to me you seem to be in an emotional state, chill out and think objectively and make sure why you are leaving. As for there is no reason to give false answers, you are deceiving yourself, and not the present company. In case there are any issues you feel agrieved about you can always talk to your senior in a polite language, no one likes to lose a good employee. In case you have already decided to leave then there is no reason to be bitter, it is a professional decision and people do move. Avoid creating unnecessary bad relationship. You may not know where and who you will meet in future. Reading your responses the impression I get is if you were working for me, I would be glad you are leaving... that is not a very good sign. never lose your composure specially in writing. Wish you all the best.

yash, this is not some spoon feeding lesson going on. if i say this, they will say like this.. then wat shud i say if they talk like this, and all ........... think for urself whether or not u want to leave, and why and whether or not ur gonna tell them the truth or fake. start using the stuff inside ur head

@ashlesha.dere@yahoo.co.in . Bingo, you hit the nail on head, I had been following the thread for quite some time now and was getting irritated hence the earlier post. Some lacunae in the way they train boys these days!

Dear Yash,
You had raised this question and received some more answers at https://www.citehr.com/381968-i-am-r...ed-tensed.html
There is a saying in English "Tell the truth, but not the whole truth". Thus you do not have to say why you joined for a lesser salary. You can say that you are moving ahead for better prospects. However bear in mind another saying "Moving stones gather no moss". If you keep changing jobs often, you may get a reputation as unstable.
Have a nice day.

:) truely ya psatya.... at some point in time it feels like this is some qts & ans round. even his company may not be thinking so much.. on the other hand, they might just be happy abt it.
psatya
yes. I agree, sometimes they just don't seem to think straight. The more number of people you ask the more confused you will get. No one 'online' knows the exact situation and interprets differently and supplies answers and also everyone is an expert b'cause he/she is holding on to her job. Hope he sees the light and deals with the situation professionally.

u can be stressed but u have to solve it on ur own. receiving too many answers from all of us will just increase your confusion. this will do no good

Dear Mr. Yash,
You are held responsible for your "STATE OF MIND" because, you are not in a position to "FOCUS to the CORE" nor you are able to DECIDE between the OPTIONS were made available to you, on your request.
You have succeeded in creating a "INSTABILITY MINDSET " by confusing yourself as you are thinking too much.
If you keep on thinking about "WHAT SHOULD BE DONE & WHAT SHOULDN'T BE DONE" then, It'll sound like "MERRY GO ROUND" or "BEATING AROUND THE BUSH"
First of all "DECIDE, WHAT YOU EXACTLY WANT" this will help you "TO DECIDE, WHAT EXACTLY SHOULD BE DONE" Here you must freeze your MINDSET and carry on with your ACTION BASED PLAN.
I suggest you to control your mind before its starts controlling you.
With profound regards
