Thank you Kiran for your encouragement. :icon1:

I appreciate your kind note concerning that what I'm doing is worthwhile to CiteHR. Even the thanks of one interested individual like 'You' means a lot to me. And as I know that I am helping people, or even one person, I am truly content that my efforts are not wasted.

Frankly speaking, since joining the forum, I was seriously thinking to post something that would help the forum members immensely. And, few days back, an idea sparked in my mind and I started collecting HR materials from different sources. Finally, I managed to gather over 900 terms and included that in this booklet containing 75 pages of text.

I wish I could do more but you do understand how time consuming such activity can become. I probably ought not to devote as much time as I do to this, so that I can focus in on my own consulting career, but I do have a strong desire to engage in such activities, and this forum provides a welcome opportunity for me to try and learn the best ways to go in relation to this interest of mine.

Again, thank you for your nice comment!

Best Regards,

Adnan

P eople helping people makes this world a better place!"

Dear Meghana, Rajat, ShailGiri, & Swastik:

I really love having feedback from you guys! Your comments do count, and I am enormously pleased to see that the booklet helped you in your concerns and increased your knowledge as well. Also, I thank you all for appreciating my efforts and taking the time to post your sweet replies. Another big thanks to those who emailed me with some other HR terms, definitions, etc. Hopefully, in the next issue, I will be adding a few more pages submitted by the viewers.

My belief: "Life is like an echo. It always comes back to you. So give the world the best you can, and the best will come back to you."

Hi Adnan,

I am a relatively new member, but I have been following all the veterans like you in the Cite. It's a very nice gesture of yours to give so much of your time for all of us. Thank you a lot.

Also, I would like to appeal to all the Cite members for ideas on how to rockstart my orientation program for 1st-year postgraduate management students. The orientation should be designed in a way that attracts more students to enroll.

Hoping for more responses.

Hello Pal,

Outstanding, impressive, and unique work. It's a ready-reckoner for all of us guys. Truly marvelous. It takes a lot of hard work, and I can imagine the effort you must have put in, young man. I wish CiteHR had a way to recognize contributions in some way that would motivate people like you and me to put in the kind of effort you have in bringing out such a wonderful piece of work.

Could you please help me out in setting up an HR Dept and HR Policy for a UGC-recognized University? There are over 1000 staff, both faculty and non-faculty.

Take care and keep it up, mate. God bless
