Harsh Kumar Mehta
Dear member, the provisions of the ESI Act, 1948 are compulsory in nature and hence there are no options.

Hi to All.
Greetings !!
Will be glad to have suggestions on the following: -
One employee is getting 20,000/- per month upto 31.03.2019 and his salary is increased to 22,500/- w.e.f. 01.04.2019 and it is implemented w.e.f. 01.06.2019 and has already paid the ESIC contribution for the months of Apr-19 & May-19.
1. @ what rate employee/ employer to pay the ESIC Contribution? @ 21,000/- or @ 22,500/-?
2. Will the employee continue to pay contribution upto Sept-19 or stop it after Jun-19?
Thanks & Regards,
Acharya
