Dear Anshu,
Diwali is the festival of celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil and light over the dark. This game is called "Thrash the Dark"
All you need is either candles or diyas with which you can light.
Ask your employees in groups or individually to come forward and light a candle / diya and let know the gathering which dark quality in their life (personal / professional / social) they would like to win over this diwali...and you will see how much fun and commitment comes out of the game.
Wish you all the best.
Warm regards,
Ebenezar

hii Anshu,
What i think about giving employees, is rather than giving gift items u can give them cash card of required amount ,according to their designation, so that employees can buy whatever they wish to for Diwali.

Dear Deboshree,

Your boss must have planned the event to improve the interpersonal skills among the employees, bcoz now a days due to pressure of work, competition and the race to be the winner, actually affecting the employees interaction.

In my company we celebrate a small gathering on every last saturday of the month for an hour or above .

Since deboshree , I dont have any PPT to share, here are some ideas for u to implement:

1)First of all, figure it out that what kind of recreational activity he wants to be done.

then accordingly plan.

2)You may then arrange a month end party or a Birthday party or a month end birthday and anniversary party as per his consent.

3)for this party you will have to prepare a invitation card and then mail it to every employee prior to the gathering, then decide a small menu ,like cold drink,pakora/cutlets/sandwich and one dessert.

Cake is must.

4)when the aprty starts, ask the employees whose bday falls in the respective to come forward and cut the cake.

5)lite jokes ,music will be icing on the cake.

Try it and for any other asssistance ,do write to me.i hope it will help u.

Thanks

Dear Anshu,
Ours is also the same sort of office. 30-35 employees mainly male. I being taking care of HR and operations thought of giving them gift vouchers. These come in various denominations which is cost effective plus employee has freedom to buy a gift of his own choice.
Hope you have a great Diwali.

Hi Rashmi,
if you have sufficient space then you can arrange tug of war which is really an interesting game and both boys and girls can participate.. Also, you can have some Bollywood theme wherein every team will pick any movie of their own choice and will be dressed in different-2 characters of that movie, then ask them to prepare any popular scene of that movie so that they can present it.. I think this idea will be very dramatic and everyone will enjoy it..
Thanks!!
