To have the benefits of Payment of Bonus Act as amended from 1-4-2014, one should be first covered under the definition of Employee. Meaning his salary should be below Rs. 21,000/-PM. Else Payment of Bonus will be the sole descrition of Management.
If eligible, notional salary ceiling is Rs. 7000 or rate of Min. Wages whichever is higher, will be considered for Bonus.
