hi all, i just read all the comments of PT but what i used to think is pt is something which is described by state govts and they revise the PT rates half early. .is it true..?

Dear All,
ESI limit is Rs.15,000/- not 10,000. and calculation is 1.75% of gross salary from employee side and 4.75% of the same from employer's side.
PT various from state tot state.
PF will be 12% of Basic. you can limit it to Rs.780 as per the law. Two portion will be calculated - 12% from Employee + 12% from Employer.
if any employee getting basic more than Rs.6500 can opt out of PF but he need to submit Form 11 for the same.
