Hi Bipan,
It looks as though neither you nor Oindri has searched CiteHR site properly. There are plenty of posts regarding this. For example, I found this: [link no longer exists - removed]. Search CiteHR using "Employee Satisfaction Survey" and you will find more posts.

Nivedita,
Sorry to hear that. It's happened to me too. But I always kept backup copies of the previous versions. If you take the computer to experts, they may be able to retrieve the file; our technicians at the universities used to try and retrieve most of it.
What matter are you looking for? Have you searched CiteHR? It's possible others have posted information on other threads.
Best wishes,
Simhan

To get an idea of a report, you do not need one on employee satisfaction. There are reports on other topics posted at CiteHr. For example, I have posted one on MBO under MBA Projects. Have a nice day.

Hi there, I know this site provides samples of surveys that have been conducted before. However, to conduct an effective analysis for your survey group, it is important to organize your questions into different areas you are trying to survey on. Here is a suggested breakdown:
1. Questions Related to Motivation
2. Questions Related to Communications/Transparency
3. Questions Related to HR Services Provided
4. Questions Related to Admin Services Provided
5. Questions Related to Environment
6. Questions Related to Performance Appraisal Evaluation
7. Questions Related to Payment & Benefit Compensation Policy of the organization
8. Questions Related to Promotions
9. Questions Related to Training & Development
10. Questions Related to Management (Communications/Mission/Vision/Decisions Made/Transparency)
When analyzing the answers you receive, consider presenting the data graphically in percentages. Utilizing Excel can simplify the process when writing a report or conducting an analysis.
Ensure that your recommendations are both realistic and achievable, and be sure to establish a timeframe for implementation.

Anayaat has given you sound advice. However, if you design your own questionnaire or adapt one, then you need to conduct statistical tests to ensure that your grouping of questions is correct.
While searching for information, I came across this site which provides detailed information about statistical methods/tests: http://www.statsoft.com/textbook/ele...tics/?button=1.

Dear Rekha, if it is for reference purposes, you do not need one on the same topic. Please see my posts on Research Methodology and MBA Projects. Also, if you kindly search for scholarly articles on the topic, you will find articles that contain information on how others have done it and why that way. You will also find how to cite others' works and how to structure a project, etc.
Have a nice day.

Hi Rekha, I am now ready with the questionnaires. How should I go about analyzing them? Will surveying 70 people be enough, or should I consider surveying 100 people? After collecting the data, how should I analyze it and create charts or pie diagrams based on the findings?
Current Findings and Recommendations
Are my current findings and recommendations correct, or should I consider additional ones? Whom should I consult or ask for guidance on this matter? Please provide your suggestions.
Thank you.

Glad to know that. The number of people to administer the questionnaire depends upon the population that you are targeting. The mix of the people whom you target depends upon the different categories and what you are trying to achieve. You need to clearly state your aim and objectives for people to guide you.
Please see my post at CiteHr, where I have given links to websites dealing with statistical analysis, validity, reliability, etc. Or kindly search the web. I wonder whether you were taught these in your Research Methodology module! Have a nice day.

Hi there, I conducted an employee satisfaction survey for my organization. However, I am not going to tell you how to do the questionnaire because the site provides a lot of material to assist you in conducting an employee satisfaction survey. But I will share a tip on how well it worked for me using appropriate technology.
Conducting the Survey Online
I conducted the survey on the internet and sent the web page to all employees to complete it online. I customized my form on the internet to enable the response rate to be shown in percentage against each question. I enabled the system to create a graphical representation of the responses to each question. All I had to do was interpret these graphs into a report and present it to management.
It's all about having the right system that allows for customization.
I wish you all the best on your project. I hope my tips will be useful to you.
