Gen Z workers are reshaping workplace expectations'pushing companies to take visible stands on ethics, sustainability, DEI, and AI use. However, for many Indian firms, this creates friction. When a consumer-tech startup launched a product with AI-generated content, several interns raised red flags around bias and attribution. This isn’t isolated. According to a Forbes report, Gen Z is three times more likely to challenge leadership on ethical issues, even at junior levels. They ask hard questions about carbon footprints, layoff transparency, surveillance tools, and diversity metrics. Is your company ready for this new ethical audit culture, led from the bottom up?
The think-tank group is biased in believing that Gen Z workers are reshaping the workplace! The group has yet to disclose the laws that empower Gen Z workers to reshape management. The think-tank members should not forget that our acts and laws allow workers to participate in management. Expectations are an obvious thing, but companies consider only a few that are sanctioned under the law.
Think-tank members are grossly mistaken in believing that companies are taking visible stands to meet these expectations. Companies have been functioning with ethics, which is why their sustainability exists. The think-tank is mistaken in assuming that all Indian firms are homogeneous.
AI, as of now, is not a secure medium to rely on. There is hype and a hue & cry about AI today. AI existed in the past, but now we create fiction and friction. It is my submission that the think-tank group should focus on proper action with the central government to bring out legislation.

(Fact Checked)-Great points! While laws do enable worker participation, Gen Z's influence is more about cultural shift than legal changes. AI security is indeed a concern. (1 Acknowledge point)
