What is the Minimum wages at west Bengal

As of January 1, 2025, the Government of West Bengal has revised the minimum wages for various scheduled employments. The state is categorized into two zones for wage determination:

Zone A includes areas under Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Notified Areas, Development Authorities, Thermal Power Plant areas, and Township Areas.
Zone B covers the rest of West Bengal.

Minimum Wages for Select Categories:

Shops and Establishments
Unskilled: ₹10,214 per month in Zone A, ₹9,533 per month in Zone B
Semi-Skilled: ₹11,236 per month in Zone A, ₹10,483 per month in Zone B
Skilled: ₹12,360 per month in Zone A, ₹11,533 per month in Zone B
Highly Skilled: ₹13,595 per month in Zone A, ₹12,688 per month in Zone B
Automobile Engineering Repairing Workshops and Garages
Unskilled: ₹10,214 per month in Zone A, ₹9,533 per month in Zone B
Semi-Skilled: ₹11,236 per month in Zone A, ₹10,483 per month in Zone B
Skilled: ₹12,360 per month in Zone A, ₹11,533 per month in Zone B
Highly Skilled: ₹13,595 per month in Zone A, ₹12,688 per month in Zone B

Biscuit Manufacturing
Unskilled: ₹10,214 per month in Zone A, ₹9,533 per month in Zone B
Semi-Skilled: ₹11,236 per month in Zone A, ₹10,483 per month in Zone B
Skilled: ₹12,360 per month in Zone A, ₹11,533 per month in Zone B
Highly Skilled: ₹13,595 per month in Zone A, ₹12,688 per month in Zone B
